Selar Pindang Belimbing Buluh

Dah habis idea dah ni... Dalam cuaca panas ni kena lebihkan pengambilan air. Masak rebus jer la yang boleh membuka selera. Lagipun semua main lebur jer...


Ikan Selar Pindang Belimbing Buluh

2 ekor ikan selar - dibersihkan dan potong 3
2 butir bawang merah
1 ulas bawang putih
sedikit halia
sedikit kunyit
3 butir cili api
6 butir belimbing buluh
garam secukupnya
air

lumatkan bawang merah, bawang putih, halia dan kunyit. campurkan semua bahan ke dalam periuk. Di atas api sederhana, biarkan mendidih dan ikan masak sepenuhnya.
Sedia untuk di hidang.


Bayam Goreng

1 ikat bayam - dibersihkan
1 ulas bawang putih - hiris
2 biji bawang merah - hiris
1/2 batang cili merah - hiris serong
secubit ikan bilis
garam secukup rasa
minyak untuk menumis

panaskan minyak, tumiskan bahan hiris dan ikan bilis, hingga naik bau. masukkan bayam dan kacau rata. letak sedikit air jika mahu. apabila bayam sedikit layu tambahkan garam, gaul rata dan matikan api. Hidang.

Tempe Rebus Asam

hari ni semua orang dalam rumah demam, nak masak pelik2 pun sure masing tak selera. Kita ikut selera kita masa berpantang dulu... hehehe... ni pernah janji kat Zai Kulim gak nak bg resipi dalam pantang. Tekak loya2 ni mmg sedap layan ngan rasa masam2 skit... Opps! Kita tak ngidam tau... tapi tekak tak sedap sbb demam... Jom kita layan...

4 keping tempe, potong kecil
1/2 biji bawang besar - potong baji atau hiris
1 ulas bawang putih - hiris
1 biji cili merah, potong serong (boleh ganti ngan lada hitam)
secubit ikan bilis - bersihkan
Air asam jawa secukupnya (kepekatan ikut selera)
garam secukup rasa

Masukkan semua bahan ke dalam periuk. Masak diatas api sederhana hingga semuanya masak. Hidangkan.

Sambal Ikan dan Bayam Rebus

Reached home quite late from usual schedule, so we had simple dinner for tonite but being favourite to all in the house. Sambal Ikan (Fish in chilli paste) and Bayam Rebus (Spinach deep in boiling water). Express preparation...

Sambal Ikan

Fried fish
'Asam Pedas' paste
2 shallots - sliced
2 tbsps vinegar
pinch of salt and sugar to taste
2 tbsps cooking oil


garnishing
1/2 big onion - sliced
green chilli - sliced

Heat cooking oil over medium fire. Stir fry the shallots. Add in the paste, keep stirring until mix well. Add in vinegar, salt and sugar. Add in the fish and garnishing. Mix them well and off fire. Ready to serve.






I used my own 'asam pedas' paste ; fry blended onion, garlic, ginger, shrimp paste and chillies, until oil seperated and keep in the fridge or freezer for longer period.



Bayam Rebus


Emmm... this is easy and healthy. No fat at all.

Just boil some water in a pot with sliced shallots, chillies and some anchovies. Season with salt. Add in the spinach when the water is boiling. Cover the pot for 3 minutes and off fire. Serve.

Rebus Ikan Salai dan Terung Asam

This 'ikan salai' or smoked fish came all the way from Kuching. It was kept in the fridge more than a year. ehehee... actually I didn't know how to cook them. Kak Dee had taught me verbally, but I just forgot when I hung up the phone. Pity me... getting old so fast...

Tonite, I just did it my way... not bad... it's acceptable... hehehehe...


Rebus Ikan Salai dan Terung Assam

5 pcs smoked fish (3 ekor jer) - cut small pieces
1 pc terung asam - wedged
salt to taste
tamarind pulp (asam keping)
1.5 cups water

pounded:
2 pcs shallots
1 garlic
2 cm ginger
2 red chillies
pinch of shrimp paste

Method:
Put everything in a pot. Bring to boil over medium heat fire until the terung split from the skin.
Ready to serve.
