Kerang Stim

Talking about 'kerang' or cockles, people always think about 'kerang bakar' (grilled) or 'kerang rebus' (boiled?) but I like to have them steamed... I mean... cook the cockles by the juice that comes from itself.

Very easy... clean the cockles and put it in a pot. Add in sliced shallot and a stalk of crushed lemongrass. Put the pot on the stove and heat it till all cockles are cooked (when the shell opens). Off the heat.

Taraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
