Jemput-jemput

This is my favourite... Irresistable... no matter how it been prepared.

2 cups self raising flour
10 medium size prawns - shelled and chopped
1/2 carrot - shredded
1 handful bean sprouts
5 stalks chives - cut into 1 cm length
1 big onion - quartered and sliced
1 cm young ginger - cut into strips
1 fresh red chilli - chopped
100 ml fresh milk
enough water
1 egg salt to taste
Cooking oil

Mix all ingredients in large bowl then let the batter rest for 30 minutes. Heat enough oil and deep fry the batter. Take out when it turns golden and dry on kitchen towel.
