Kupang Goreng

This is my favourite type of seafood. Fresh 'Kupang' or mussel (i'm not sure ), is best prepared as Sambal Tumis, or as for me, just boil in very little water is enough, macam makan kerang rebus lah... but kupang has sweeter taste. This time I prepared simple dish of 'Kupang'.
500g mussel - shelled
2 cloves garlic - crushed
1" piece young ginger - sliced thinly
1 big onion - sliced
2 fresh green chillies - sliced salt to taste
3 tbsps oil
  • Wash mussels under running water and drained.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the garlic and ginger until brown and fragrant.
  • Add mussels, onion and chillies and stir-fry for a minute before adding salt. Continue stir-frying until the mussels are cooked or onion soften. Ready to serve.
